Thomas joined Cornerstone after completing a Bachelor of Business with Distinction (Finance & IT) at UTS. Personally trained by Douglas, he has developed a strong foundation in facility operations, compliance, and stakeholder management across a range of residential assets.
His background in finance and data analysis brings additional depth to the team — supporting informed decision-making, reporting, and the day-to-day delivery of services to clients and residents.
Doug served as the original Building Manager of Ed Square for over 5.5 years — a large mixed-use development encompassing residential towers, a town centre with over 90 retailers, dining, entertainment, and extensive open spaces. Projects included CCTV upgrades, waste facility changes across four towers, comms tower installation, and mains RPZ replacement across all residential buildings.
Day-to-day facility management of a major mixed-use development incorporating tourism, commercial, residential, retail, and maritime activities. Key works included concrete cancer investigation and remediation, sea water plant and pump upgrade, louvre audit and repair, and main fire indicator panel replacement.
Facility management of a mixed-use retail and residential development. Projects included lift upgrade, facade monitoring and rectification, full LED replacement of common area and car park lighting, rooftop membrane remediation, and engineering support for water ingress into car park and lift shafts.
Management of an impressive heritage-listed mixed-use complex on York Street. Work included managing commercial and retail fit-outs, achieving fire compliance with City of Sydney Council, defect rectification, security and concierge team management, and annual fire safety statements across residential, commercial and retail.
